NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY IN BARCELONA:
Capturing newborn magic forever

You’ve just had a child and emotions are running high. It’s a unique moment and it will pass faster than you think. The first few days can be complicated and a newborn photo shoot will be the perfect excuse to enjoy together a morning in a calm and relaxed environment, sharing with me how are you feeling these days.

These photographs will tell the story of your family. How do you want the photos your child will see tomorrow?

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a mother, and I’ve also been able to see from my experience with newborns, it’s that when we are born we already have our own personality. There are no two children alike, each one has his own character, some are calm, some are more awake. In the same way every newborn has their preferences to be comfortable, and sometimes the way they have been placed during pregnancy also predisposes them to one posture or another. That’s why there are no two newborn sessions alike. Newborn photography requires patience, adaptability and improvisation. I don’t follow marked scripts or look for a list of poses, I will be attentive at all times to the peculiarities of each baby to adapt to their preferences and possibilities. Your baby is unique, and my photos will show the essence of her beauty.

My newborn photography is natural and minimalist. I am fascinated by the period of pregnancy and try to recreate in my photographs postures that remind us of what was his intrauterine life just a few days ago. The only "prop" that a baby needs is the hug of their parents. There is no place where you feel more secure and loved, physically connected as an extension of pregnancy, and so I like to photograph you.

Surrounded by the love of family, brothers included, photographing all those feelings that surround the arrival of the baby to the family. Mothers sometimes worry about not being "at her best moment" and most fathers generally consider themselves "not much of the photo lovers kind". But to capture those first moments of your life as a family (the way you look at each other, intimate moments during breastfeeding, happiness and pride in your faces or even funny moments of the new older brothers) is something priceless and you will want to keep and share with your children.

And what happens if your baby is older than 15 days? Each stage in life gives us opportunities for precious memories, and babies over the age of 15 days may not sleep as much but in return they can fix their eyes better and look at and interact more with their parents.

Sometimes there’s a problem that keeps you from leaving the house, or you just might be the kind of person who thinks the best place to be is your own home. I can move into your home and in the purest style of what we could call "family documentary photography" I will capture your daily routine with the baby.
