I believe that the most emotional and life changing moment in our life is the moment when we embrace our child for the first time, and preserve this moment and being able to share it with our sons and daughters later on is of incalculable value. Birth is not only the moment of the expulsive, it’s a whole story full of very intense moments, and you’ll be surprised to see them from another perspective. There will even be moments you don’t remember or you have not been able to see, and I’ll be there to show them to you.

How to choose a birth photographer?

You may have doubts about how you will feel with a person photographing your birth, I can tell you that I myself have lived the experience of having a photographer during the birth of my son and I know how important is to choose the right person. This situation is probably the most vulnerable in which you have ever found yourself and you need someone to accompany you in a respectful, discreet and sensitive way. Many times I’ve been told that there were times when they were not even aware that I was there, but at other times they were grateful for the fact that I offered my hand for what was needed. Knowing how and where I have to be at all times is a very important part of my work and I want you to see me as one more person on the team that is by your side supporting you at this crucial time.

How much does it cost a birth photographer ?

Probably, these shootings are the most demanding and exhausting work that a photographer can have. Talking about time dedication, it’s fully comparable to wedding photography, but it presents the following additional difficulties:

- We don't know when it will take place and when we know it’s possible that it will be very soon.

- It’s not known how long it will last, although it probably involves many hours.

- It’s unforeseeable, many circumstances can be presented to which it’s necessary to adapt on how will be or where will take place.

- It involves requesting permissions or managing authorisations that can sometimes be planned but are sometimes affected by the evolution of events.

- The technical conditions with which we have to work are very complicated, with very low light, in very small spaces or with little or no possibilities of movement.

- Emotionally, it can be very intense. We have to deal with people’s emotions around us and our own.

It’s an unrepeatable moment, and you need an experienced professional photographer who can guarantee that she can offer the service you need taking all these issues into account, so it cannot be an economic service.
